Senior Specifications Writer

David has experience in all aspects of the architectural profession including specifications, building design, code review, materials research, interdisciplinary coordination, quality review, contract administration, and existing facility surveys. As a specifier since 1982, and in independent practice as President of WDEO Associates, Inc. since 1990, David has written hundreds of specifications for over 100 A/E firms with projects in 17 states and three foreign countries valued well more than three billion dollars.

David brings a superior level of expertise in not only construction specifications for architectural, landscape, civil, and structural disciplines, but also in the preparation of "front end documents," including project bidding and contracting requirements. He has assisted many architectural, construction management, and design/build firms in creating office master documents, and has consulted with product manufacturers in the preparation of guide specifications.
